Spring is my favorite time of year for many reasons.
Renewing of my faith with Easter, family celebrations; there are eight!
This year adds another reason. The resale store is doing fabulous.
We are increasing sales and traffic…with no jam! 😉
The sweetest part is that we had a month with over $5,000 in sales!
RE-Discover the store if you have not been in lately. (We are working on the online store as I write!)
This is a daring adventure of responsibility for me. I embrace it wholeheartedly because it infuses two of my passions. My love of repurposing items and my compassion for others.
These activities in my life keep both items and people out of the dump(s). 🥁

The shop is six months old. Come in and look at how we have grown. (The online store is in progress. I promise.)
DON’T HESITATE…PARTICIPATE:
*volunteer for a 3 hour shift once a week or once a month
{cashier, sort, tag}
*volunteer to market our products through the internet
{team effort here}
*volunteer to assist with events both at the shop and community events
{fundraisers, introductions to groups}
*last but not least. Like our Facebook Page, click on THE RISE CONCEPT and share every post {ok every other post}
Daring to lead is hard but not without rewards.
When I share our mission with the people that come into the store,
I am strengthened and assured of the decision to create a community hub offering goods and services to empower others wanting to empower themselves.
To start something from scratch takes a lot of patience and courage. It will also take a village. I want to thank Nancy Pryor, Ping Wang, and Mac McCardle for saying yes to journey on this adventurous path. (and of course all my friends who have had to listen to me brainstorm. Please pray for them and if you have extra time pray for the store please!) 🙏
